CSX on the Tracks of the C&O DVD
The Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad main line included the iron between Lynchburg, VA and Kenova, WV. Through Clifton Forge, Covington, White Sulfur Springs, St. Albans and Huntington.
Today the CSX interchanges with the Norfolk Southern at Lynchburg. Clifton Forge was a major locomotive shop under the C&O and it is here that the line splits with single track heading east to Charlottesville and the southeast double track mainline over the Jackson River bridge to Lynchburg. AtHuntington, the Ohio River Terminal Co. Switches CSX coal to the Ohio River barges with an ALCO C415. Filmed in the late 1990s.
